Really? A bookstore?

I've been really working on dealing with the cards I've been dealt as far as kids are concerned.  I thought I was getting a pretty good handle on it, until I went to a bookstore yesterday to pick up a couple of cute books for my nieces and nephews.
One of the books I was looking for.
I used to buy books I really liked for my future children.  As I was standing there amongst some of my favorite children's books, I started tearing up at the fact I won't EVER be reading them to a child of my own.
One of the books that triggered the tear fest.
I left the bookstore book-less, and will now be sending any purchased children's books from on-line sources until I can get over these momentary lapses of insanity weakness. (I will also likely need to donate all of the books I purchased over the years at some point too.) I mean seriously!?! Ferdinand the Bull?

I felt like such a dork!  Hopefully I will someday be able to venture into a children's book section without such a great sense of loss.
