"Housewifing"

Being unemployed means that I'm now in charge of taking care of things around the house.   With a chance of rain forecast for tomorrow, that meant cleaning out the gutters.

They tend to get pretty full after a summer of no rain.  Especially since these leaves are prickly and like to stick together!   Luckily not having rain for months, makes this a dry, albeit dusty, job.  

Thankfully I could reach everything from our rickety wooden ladder and didn't have to climb up on the roof! 

Bring on the rain!
