Snickerdoodles

I just discovered Tim loves Snickerdoodles. Since they're not my favorite, it makes them the perfect thing to fix. I'm ok with having just one, Tim's ok with eating the rest. It's the perfect fit. They turned out quite well considering I hadn't made them in years. :-)

We only ended up with 6 Trick-or-Treater's last night. (I refuse to call them TOT's...) I was disappointed, but didn't promote the neighborhood so what can you do. Some year I'll get the word out. This year with the IVF cycle and then my brother's visit, I didn't much time for anything else. I was happy I managed to get some decorations up!

Halloween did get me in the holiday mood. I am looking forward to decorating for Christmas this year. I don't plan on starting until after T-day, but am looking forward to the season. I think it was baking the cookies. I'm ready to make divinity, fudge, and all kinds of tasty cookies and candy. I hope this new-found energy (probably fueled by a lb of leftover Halloween candy) will last.
