Distracted

I have a list a mile long of things to do before I'm bedridden for a few days next week... help patch the storage shed roof, finish the river rock project in the parking strip that we started last weekend, prep the yard for the rainy season, clean the house, work on the bathroom remodel, and buy groceries... I did manage to buy groceries, and started cleaning the house... I went out to the storage shed to check on things, and that's when I spied my Halloween boxes. I decided these should be added to the list post haste, (since it is October already...) and so I dusted the real cobwebs off the boxes and carried them inside to unpack.

Amongst the cobwebs, spiders, snakes, and spooky stuff I found our Cat costumes. (Yes, I'm one of those crazy people who dresses their cats in costumes.)

Last year I found a couple of cute hats for under $2 and couldn't resist. Our "fraidy cat" actually likes her Princess hat! (Maybe this is because she truly IS a princess...)

The black cat is great about full body costumes, but HATED the Frankenstein hat! I managed to get a photo, but likely won't make him wear the cumbersome "mask" again. It looks like the franken' monster is eating him! He looks much better in his lobster or skunk costumes. :-)

Now that I have the cats decorated, I guess I should get back to the rest of my list...
