For better or worse I'm watching the Boleyn Sisters. I love the wonderfully vibrant cloaks and garments, the large stone castle walls, and the gorgeous misty green countryside. Perhaps this is why I chose to have a renaissance wedding, the romance, gorgeous gowns, and the music. I love the formality, and structure, the gentle roll of the language...

However, if I had lived in that time, I could have been tossed to the side (or worse) for the lack of an heir. Or I could be frantically drinking a concoction of rabbit's blood, mare's milk and sheep's urine to cure my barrenness. I suppose it's a blessing that I don't live in that period, and I live in one of shots instead.
