Ponderings
My camera can't quite catch the gorgeous shades of yellow and faint pink in this peony, but it's still a pretty picture. My grand-mother raised flowers similar to these, however they were much larger blooms, and even more fragrant. She often had a large bouquet of various colors on the table. Burgundy, white, pink, red, peach, rose... the entire first floor would smell of peonies. These gorgeous flowers are usually not found in California, so I was shocked to find these in our grocery store chain yesterday, and had to get some for my table.I've been trying to contact the other IVF clinic that is closer to our home, but they haven't responded to my inquiries. Which either means they are swamped from all of their recent ads, or they're not good at responding, which doesn't bode well. I'll give them a third chance next week, as I think Tim would prefer to go there since it's closer. (Although I probably would not do the IVIG or Intralipid treatments at the non-responsive clinic.) I'm a bit disappointed that they aren't responding, I guess we'll see what happens next week.
