y tasks this week are to find out which clinic offers the best "bring home a baby" package. (Since our insurance doesn't cover anything!) The clinic we'll likely go with is a bit of a drive, but not quite as far as San Francisco.
I looked into doing just the IVIG or Intralipid Infusion and trying naturally, however the clinic that might consider this charges $600 for just the consultation alone, and an additional charge each follow-up visit. It's sad when cost becomes a factor, but it seems a bit much to pay someone $600 to talk. (Especially when it costs thousands for the treatments and infusions!)
I'm rather excited, and nervous about the next step. I've been on the sidelines too long, and it feels good to get back into things before I miss out all together! Wish me luck!
