I did a bit of digging this weekend and discovered why the "bring home a baby" clinic never called me back. It's my age. Their requirements for the program include the "Ability to complete all three IVF cycles prior to the woman's 38th birthday." I guess they just don't call you back if you're born prior to 1971-72, and thus why it's a required field. It likely keeps their success rates up.

All of my tests are fine, except my age, but apparently age is the determining factor and the tests are not even worth asking about. I guess there are enough people born after 1971 that they don't need to contact those born in '69. Oh well, their loss.

I was reading another blog this weekend and the person said they were going to do something they've always wanted to do this year in addition to their IVF procedure so they wouldn't have a year that was only filled with disappointment. I thought that sounded like a cool idea and mentioned it to Tim, and he said that we're having a baby and there won't be any disappointments. :-) I have to admit sometimes I really like the way he thinks.
