Life's Lemons

Our lemon tree is LOADED with lemons, however every once and awhile it throws us unique one. The multi-faceted eye one was pretty cool when I cut into it tonight. It didn't make the cut for the lemon bars I'm making, but it is so interesting I couldn't resist taking a picture.

Life has been rather stressful the past couple of weeks. Job adjustments and lay-offs of friends, Easter stress, and clutch repairs have thrown a few lemons our way. I'm hoping my attempt at sugar coated lemon bars will appease life's lemons as well, and that next week will be less stressful.

Well, the lemon bars were quite "lemony" and very good! I even added a couple of lemon blossoms for color. Both tiers practically disappeared. :-)
