Marching Forward

March is coming in like a lion, more rain this week, as if to spite the announcement of drought conditions in our state.

I took this photo this morning. I'm not sure what types of clover or shamrock it is but it does quite well where we live. I usually pull them up after St. Patrick's Day so our other flowers have a chance. This one is nestled next to a miniature persimmon that last year only provided one little fruit (which was partially eaten by a pesky squirrel) it was also frosted so we'll see if it recovers.

This month I get my thyroid test, and if it's lower than two, I can proceed with the next step in the cycle. We'll see how it goes, it would be a lot easier if we had insurance to cover the expenses.

I'm learning that most of my friends (who are older), and have had children (singles or twins) through IVF have hired nannies to help with the workload. I hope that my once being a nanny will be enough.
