Loverly Lemons

We had SUN this weekend! Not only that, it was warm enough to pull out my tank top! It was GREAT to be outdoors and to clean up the yard, and I needed the distraction!

Last week there were reductions in pay at our work. It was inevitable, but it's always hard. We were notified on Monday, and had to wait until Friday to see how much of a cut we were getting. The alternative was lay-offs, so I guess it's the lesser of two evils. Luckily Tim is still able to put in extra hours.

The rain created some HUGE lemons on our tree. I picked an armload and brought them in, and put them in our fruit basket with a couple of apples just to show how large they are. I want to try a shaker pie sometime soon as we definitely have enough lemons to do so.

This week I'll find out my thyroid levels and then we'll have to figure out what to do about our cycle. Part of the reduction in pay also reduced my health insurance coverage, so we have even more to think about...
