Rainy Reflections
Our cat decided he MUST go outside today. (Not aware that the weather was windy and rain was on the way.) He meowed and stomped around the house showing his displeasure of being IN-doors, when the OUT-doors was calling him.So, we put his leash on and took him outside to show him that the outdoors isn't always flowers and sunshine. He wasn't sure what was up with the sky, his ears went back and he kept looking around to see who was blowing cold air on him! He ventured out and explored as much as he could, but when it really started raining, he decided it wasn't worth it, and is now busy getting all of the water off of his coat. (Which makes him much quieter.)
Tim has started mentioning I will be 40 this year, and checking to see if I'm ok with it. It's quite funny, as until now, I hadn't thought about it. I'm hoping I'll be ok with it. I don't feel close to 39, let alone 40. (Although my body has packed on a bit more weight than when I was 20... perhaps in part due to my desk jobs.) We'll see how I feel as the year progresses. I think a lot of how I feel will depend on how the IVF treatments go this spring. I can't imagine not having a baby, but this is the year that will pretty much determine if children are in the cards. I suppose I'm more worried about that, than I am about getting older.
