Porch Project...

This weekend temps were in the 80's so I figured it was a perfect time to paint the front porch, and put up some new light fixtures to replace the tarnished ones that came with the house.

The house really looked dated and dirty with the white brick, and since we plan on remodeling the front later, we figured we'd do some simple cosmetic things to help brighten the exterior until we can forge ahead with our Phase 2 plans.

I am so happy with our new lights and painted brick! The lights are similar in style, with the one by the door being larger with more detail. These simple additions made the whole house look better! No more rusty old light smashed up against the shutters, and no more dirty white brick! The house seems very warm and inviting with the Natural Grey color. It even made the dingy siding look brighter! :-)
