Dirty Laundry...

I'm back...briefly. Moving almost sucked the life out of us! We had planned on hiring movers, but with the recent cut in my income we ended up moving everything ourselves... Including all of our plants...the last thing we moved was the 10' plum tree at the end of this Iris row.

My entire body was one giant bruise. We moved the last load of boxes and the cars over to the new house on a Wednesday evening, only to get on a plane for a preplanned trip to the Midwest the following day. (I packed what I could find that morning... poor Tim had a lot of Hawaiian shirts and not many long sleeves on this trip.)

The Internet @ our parent's is still dial up, and unbearably slow. Even my iPhone couldn't get service! So I took a break from moving and blogging and tried to relax a bit.

We are now back and settling into our new home. Today's task list is to clean the mountain of clothes, office supplies, and boxes out of the front bedroom, so Tim can get to the crawl space tonight to address a clogged pipe. This needs to be done so we can do our laundry that has piled up for over a month! I will be doing laundry the rest of the week once we clear the lines. The plus, the garage is attached to the house so I won't have to trek outside to wash clothes any more!
