At the Dr's

Well, the metf0rmin I'm on is causing a bit of havoc with my digestive system, and that's about all I can tell so far. I saw my primary care doctor today and they said there's really nothing I can do about it, except eat the medications with meals, which I am. Hopefully it will help me loose weight at least, but we'll see. The ironic part is the Dr I was seeing (my primary Dr was out) had taken the metf0rmin for infertility as well. She had the same reaction, but said that metf0rmin was very good for PCOS. So of course I asked how it worked out for her, and she said, the treatments didn't work at all, but she managed to get pregnant naturally after trying for years. She was very happy, and encouraged me not to give up, which was nice.

While at the Dr's I had my blood drawn for six of the tests, one of them should see how the month of thyr0id meds have worked for me. I still have the Chicag0 testing to do, but have to go to a different clinic to have that blood drawn. Since those tests are going to be around $1,200 I'm not in a huge rush. --This plus the fact I just got a $900 vet bill for my horses! Ouch.

During the course of my examination I learned I haven't lost a single pound since I started working out at the end of May. Instead I've gained some! I am now close to the "cut off" category at the IVF clinic, if I gain much more weight they won't treat me because my BMI will be too high! I just scheduled my second set of measurements at the gym for Monday so hopefully they'll at least say I lost some inches, but the way my clothes feel, I doubt it. Instead it appears I'm managing to bulk up underneath my fat! How sucky is that!?! Hopefully something will give soon.
