Introductions

Labor Day weekend finds us dog sitting @ our house. I purchased tags for our cats just in case they get out, and piked up Sable tonight. Tim brought her in the house while I unloaded the truck. I missed the first bristle brush pictures, but managed to get this one. The fluffy tail and raised hair on her arched back made her look A LOT like a raccoon. She's less "fluffy" here but still bristly--especially her tail and the ridge along her spine.

The dog doesn't mind the cats at all, the cats on the other hand are taking a bit of time to adjust to her. Sable has wanted to play ball with the cats, and rolled it to them with her nose, it was very cute. They are thinking about joining in, especially when we're playing fetch. It's only been a few hours and they are already warming up to her. I have the feeling they'll be good friends by the time the weekend is over.
