The princess

Unlike the male cat, our female cat is more regal, Tim calls her model number 5,987,654 or dime a dozen for short, as he thinks she looks like any other cat. I on the other hand think she is gorgeous. Her endearing qualities are regal like her personality:

1. She LOVES water, is fascinated by the toilet, shower, water dish, sprinkler, you name it! She didn't scratch me once when she got a bath this morning. (She hates the spray bottle though.)


2. She loves to hunt--moths and small bugs are her speciality. She also loves to play with her mice...and hides them in our shoes for sport. (Hopefully we'll never see what she does with a real mouse!)
   
3. She fetches! She will chase after her catnip mouse or ball and bring it back to you to throw again. (She also likes to "fish" the toys out of their cat hammock.)


4. She’s smart and sneaky and rarely gets caught in the act, she knows not to stay away from the "forbidden" areas until she thinks we've left or aren't watching her.


5. She eats daintily, and like the outdoor cat, will paw the food out of the bowl if it gets too low.


6. She is graceful, and is able to calculate jumps so she quietly lands on her intended target.
7. She loves to climb trees and ledges and prefers the higher ground. S he will sit on her "haunches" and raise herself up as high as she can to see over things that are taller than she is, just like a curious raccoon.


8. She has the lines of a show cat, a long straight body with not an ounce of excess fat. Although her secret addiction is canned cat food!


9. She likes to "talk" to you in little chirps, and her favorite thing to do is to knead you until she drools, purring contentedly the entire time.


10. She mothers and humors "the dark side", and when he gets too out of hand has no problem putting him in his place. She even tolerates small children~while the "fearless" one runs off to hide!

She is truly the princess kitten.
