Slacking
Most of my time (outside of work and working out 3x a week) has been spent with our cats, or in the garden. We had our first tomato from our container garden last week and it was delicious! My black cat is still snot ridden, but it's not green snot, so we're hoping that means he's getting better. I really hope the warmer weather will dry him out the rest of the way.
I have also found some extra time to read. I just finished a wonderful book about ad0ption. (Not that that's something we're considering, because after the cat fiasco, I know I would be devastated if the parents or an agency "changed their mind".) The book was "An Empt*y Lap" and although it was written about a period over 10 years ago, it described a lot of the struggles, emotions, and sadness that I've gone through with infertility.
I haven't given up on having a baby, I am just in limbo trying to decide what path to take. I have been going through "Healing T0uch" sessions, until I figure out what I want to do: surgery vs forge ahead without it, try another round of IVF or skip to surrogacy. I have a lot of choices and no answers. Healing T0uch is a much more holistic approach--essentially a complimentary energy session that lasts about an hour and focuses on fertility, clarity, and getting me balanced. (mind, body, and spirit) I love the weekly sessions and am noticing that I am more balanced and open, which in addition to working out is a good thing. At least I'm not a total slacker.
