A New Coat

Well, we tackled another house project this weekend. I finally painted our bathroom and bought matching towel racks to replace the dented mismatched ones. It looks SOO much better!

The old bathroom looked almost yellow in most lights, although for some reason it looks even darker in this photo. The ceiling and trim was painted the same color as the walls, which didn't help matters. Unfortunately I didn't think to take a "Before" photo, and ended up taking one 1/2 way through getting things off the walls, but it still gives some idea.

I painted the ceiling and trim a bright white and the walls a "Drop of Green" which almost looks white in some lights. It looks SO much brighter and feels a lot "cheerier" with the little change of some paint and new hardware. Too bad we don't own the place, or I'd put in a new floor too! (Actually if we owned the place, I'd probably re-do the entire thing.)
