Filling the void

I've been fighting depression lately. Tim has been working late hours and on weekends, and we both realized that I rely on his company a bit too much. He actually suggested I get a dog to fill the void in my life. Especially since it looks like I probably won't be having a baby anytime soon, if at all.

Luckily our landlady doesn't allow pets, or I just might have considered it. The other reason we don't have any house pets is because we didn't want to have to board them when we travel. Since we haven't traveled in eons, this is not a valid excuse.

If we owned a house I might consider getting a pet. I think a Savannah or a Bengal cat would be awesome! (albeit expensive) They are larger than a regular cat, enjoy baths, long walks, and attention, and they are absolutely GORGEOUS!
