She's Gone

My Grandmother passed away on Saturday November 4th. We (Tim, my brother, and his wife) were driving along the ocean at the time. (I didn't "officially" find out until later that evening, but I knew she had gone.)

This sunset picture was taken in honor of her, I will miss her terribly, and know if there's a heaven she will be there.

I honestly think she moved on so she wouldn't be a burden to her children. I will never know why they didn't honor her wishes of spending her final days at home, nor will I understand why they would sell her things before she passed on when she often said she never wanted to see her items go to auction, but instead would rather have someone in the family use and enjoy them.

At the moment, I don't plan on going back for her funeral, she knew I loved her, and to me that's what matters most.
