Small World

The small Mid-western town I grew up in had about 1,200 people in it, and it was about an hour from any major* city. (*120,000 people) In fact my graduating class combined three towns, to obtain the whopping total of 69 students.

This photo (early 1900's) was found online--other than the trees being larger and the fact the roads have been paved, my hometown still looks about the same.
Today while researching project management software from a Kansas City company, I discovered the person I was speaking to used to vacation in the town where I grew up, every summer when he was little! Then on the way out to lunch, our new office manager told me her mom was born in the SAME TOWN I was! (The salesperson and our office manager were both born on the west coast.) It's surprising at what a small world it is sometimes.

In other news, my Dr's office called, and they want to add another drug to the mix. Letrozole My emotions this cycle go from completely ok with whatever the outcome, to really wanting things to work the first try, to wanting to cancel everything and just call it quits. It's a rather strange sensation. Most of the time it is the positive "I'm ok with whatever happens" feeling, which works for me. We'll see how I feel once I add more than one medication to the mix!
