Getting my head examined

My blood test came back, and as I suspected, I don't have diabetes. Which is good, since I had already started my fertility medications and really didn't want to have to postpone this cycle.

On Friday I also had my head examined. Literally. I had a nice x-ray taken of my head to see if a bump I have is bone or just a bump. No news on that situation though.

So far the new meds I'm on have been easy. But the only one I am on is Estrace. I take 4 mg every night, and haven't had any adverse effects. Other than a dry mouth, but that's supposedly not one of the side effects.

I've also been on the Sonoma Diet for about 2-1/2 weeks. Mainly to eat healthier and feel more energetic. The first week was hard, as it had a lot of recipes to get used to and it seemed like quite a bit of cooking and time was needed in order for it to work. Now that I've gotten into the routine of things, it isn't as bad. I even take a salad to work, which is much better than a granola bar or a handful of peanut M&Ms. I'm not officially dieting, since I can't loose tons of weight while trying to get pregnant, but I figure it can't hurt to get some good eating habits in place, so maybe I'll crave something other than peanut M&M's and hot peppers if I ever do get pregnant.

Dieting is tough at the best of times, and with the hormones and side effects of the IF meds, it's worse. I'm glad your test for diabetes came back negative, that would be really hard to deal with!

Good luck at you ramp up on the meds. I was playing with the "what kind of martini are you" site and it said I was a blueberry martini-- clearly unaware I am allergic to blueberries- and it said chocolate martinis are my rivals... huh? Yeah, kind of fun to play with- but I don't give it much accuracy. I wish you luck this cycle- and I midway through mine now...
