Knifty Knitter

I bought Gramie the round knitting looms last night and decided to pick out a set and some yarn for me as well. (Which won't help my weight, but will give me something "productive" to do with my evenings other than sit in front of my computer.)

Having never been good at knitting, I was shocked when my first attempt at a hat turned out great! It is SOO CUTE! The bootie is cute, but a bit thick, so I will have to try another pattern. The amazing thing is that it didn't take long at all! I'd love to make a poncho sometime, but will stick to hats and booties at the moment, since I can finish them in an evening.
