TGIF
It has been a LONG couple of weeks! Ten days ago, I was officially promoted to Jr. Project Manager. Since I still do my other job as an IT guru/office/building manager plus the new one, I’ve been completely swamped at work. On top of that I’ve been managing the marketing, advertising, and generating copy for a new web page. I will be ready for a real vacation once this is over!
I have been so busy @ work, I haven't felt like getting on the computer @ home. Tonight we're relaxing and playing some video games. I tend to be more reckless than Tim, so I end up having some time on my hands when it's his turn to play, and decided to follow up on my neglected items during my turn. Every time I get the controller it doesn't take long before cops are involved and cars blow up. The game is hilarious; every time you get in a new car the radio station is different. Country is playing right now.
Speaking of cars...gas is up to over $3.06/gallon here. I don't think it will go down anytime soon. Unfortunately a "Pious" isn't my style so I guess I'll have to stop complaining.
No news on the BMP. Four plus months of herbs and acupuncture have helped my energy overall which is good. My Kidney Chi is still week, which is disappointing, but I guess I can't expect things overnight. The herbs this week smell STRONG! They taste ok, but not as good as some weeks. It would be nice if they worked. Tim and I have a couple of trips planned in June, so maybe getting away will help. Especially since one is a Bavarian festival...mmm German beer.
Well, Tim's in a ravine with a bunch of cops following him, and his car is smoking, I think I'll be up soon. :-) Oh the exciting married life. Video game Friday.
