BFN--Big Fat Negative

Well, this time things were less stressful, I managed the shots well. (Minus a few emotional episodes.) I took time off of work to relax and not stress. I managed the 2WW (2 Week Wait) and followed the instructions to take the test, only to learn it resulted in a BFN. Needless to say I am getting tired of BFNs!

We are both problem solvers, so the fact that we can't solve the unexplained infertility is a major downer. The really hard part is not thinking of it as failing and not blaming yourself. I really thought bumping things up a notch would work, and I really don't want to bump things up to IVF! But then again, I never thought having kids would be so hard!@!

I know you don't know me, but I've been following your blog. Sorry to hear about the BFN. It can extremely frustrating.

We've had a few problems ourselves, but I'm taking a haitus from BM to relax from all that stress and to lose a little weight. However, when I was going through all that, I checked up on the ovusoft forums and it helped me to see women going through the same issues or worse ending up preggers after the long haul. have you checked out that site? It's great!!

Anyway, just wanted to say hi and my fingers are crossed for you.

Thanks for the encouraging words, and the Ovusoft recommendation. It is reassuring to knowing others are going through the same thing. Especially since everyone around me seems to not have a problem at all! Not to mention doesn’t understand the rollercoaster of emotions and moods that infertility causes! If I hear “You just need to go on a vacation.” one more time!!!

Good luck with your diet and hiatus from the BMP. I know I’ve gained some weight since I’ve started the fertility treatments. I tend to eat when emotional and since I’m emotional almost 24-7… I started going to our local gym and exercising. I figure if our Baby Making Project ever works, my body should be ready for it!

Fertile thoughts and best wishes to you!!!
